There are several ways to interpret this image but I guess I was going for the eternal bond of love between Merlin and Arthur. I represented it here by the dragon tattoo on Merlin's back (tattoos are pretty permanent) I also tried to capture the last battle of King Arthur, where he finally falls and is then taken to Avalon where he will sleep until England's darkest hour. Merlin is not really standing naked looking out at the battle, its more of a vision he's seeing in his head of a future event. Arthur is older, wearing the crown and sporting longer hair.
