Okay, so you have your lovely base, and you've chosen the perfect head, but there's a problem. The colours dont match! All is not lost - it's fairly easy with Photoshop to get them working in perfect tandem

So below, I have my base, and my head (and I just realised that it looks like the guy has beheaded Gawaine and is holding his severed head aloft!) Any way, the base is your classic tanned surfer dude and Gawain is you classic pasty Irish boy

Something I should metion is the lighting. The light on Gawain is casting a shadow on the left of his face, but the base is lit from the other side. Obviously one of them needs to be flipped and if you can possibly avoid it, it should not be the head. Faces are not as symetrical as you think, and flipping his head might make him look a bit odd. So always flip the body if you can.
